In order to deceive people, the JW&#8217;s translated the Greek words which are normally translated as worship in other Bible translations as either &#8220;obeisance&#8221; or &#8220;worship&#8221; depending on whether it was in reference to Jesus or not. The one exception to that practice is in reference to Cornelius worshipping Peter which the NWT translates as obeisance. To demonstrate the deceitful translation of these words in the NWT, every occurrence of <a href=\"http:\/\/studybible.info\/strongs\/G4352\">\u03c0\u03c1\u03bf\u03c3\u03ba\u03c5\u03bd\u1f73\u03c9<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/studybible.info\/strongs\/G4353\">\u03c0\u03c1\u03bf\u03c3\u03ba\u03c5\u03bd\u03b7\u03c4\u1f75\u03c2<\/a> has been cited below noting whether the NWT translated the word as &#8220;obeisance,&#8221; &#8220;bowed down,&#8221; or &#8220;worship.&#8221; It is also important to observe that the NWT only includes a footnote of an alternate translation of \u03c0\u03c1\u03bf\u03c3\u03ba\u03c5\u03bd\u1f73\u03c9 when it is translated as &#8220;obeisance&#8221; or &#8220;bowed down.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>From the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures 2013 Revision:<\/p>\n<p>\u03c0\u03c1\u03bf\u03c3\u03ba\u03c5\u03bd\u03b7\u03c4\u1f75\u03c2 &#8211; a worshipper<\/p>\n<p>In reference to the Father<br \/>\nJohn 4:23 worshippers<\/p>\n<p>\u03c0\u03c1\u03bf\u03c3\u03ba\u03c5\u03bd\u1f73\u03c9 &#8211; to make obeisance, worship<\/p>\n<p>In reference to Jesus<br \/>\nMatthew 2:2 obeisance ft.
