” … Rick Santorum is a pro-life fraud.
“In 97, Rick Santorum campaigned for the abortion-promoting governor of New Jersey,

Christine Todd Whitman. Governor Whitman has deep associations with radical abortion-supporting groups, Republicans for Choice and Republican Majority for Choice. In fact, Governor Whitman was an active proponent of partial-birth abortions.”

“In 2004, Senator Santorum actively campaigned for radical abortionist Senator Arlen Specter instead of pro-life [ CCL: ??? ] Congressman Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania.”

CCL Notes: 1) Christine Todd Whitman is also member of the New World Order’s Jesuit-ruled, Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).
2) U.S. Senator Arlen Specter switched parties from Republican to Democrat in 2009.
3) Arlen Specter is also a 33rd Degree Mason.

With 45 percent of Iowa Republican voters undecided and a roller-coaster ride about to come to a screeching stop next Tuesday with the GOP caucuses, it may be Rick Santorum’s turn to take the final ascent and surprise the political class by … doing better than expected?

Santorum, the former Pennsylvania senator, has been touted as the sleeper candidate by none other than 2008 Iowa caucuses winner Mike Huckabee. He has relentlessly campaigned in the state, hitting all 99 counties and moving his family out there. He has held 350 campaign events in the past year.

“Santorum didn’t specifically outline what he would do as president to defend Personhood legislation, but said that “irrespective of what the court does, you do what you do, and you fight!” Santorum’s focus was on legislative items, but he said “you can go the constitutional amendment route, which is a harder route to take, but it’s really important to continue to challenge the court so it can see the error of its ways.”

First the ones I would not be caucusing for if I lived in Iowa.

Rick Santorum- Phenomenally inspiring personal family story and one of the strongest pro-family/ pro-life candidates and the only candidate with the courage in the debates to expose Romney’s unilateral, illegal and unconstitutional implementation of same-sex “marriage”. (which the “fair and balanced” media have just coincidentally ignored).

But his endorsements of pro-aborts Arlen Specter, Christie Todd Whitman, and the Founding Father of same-sex “marriage,” the $50 co-pay abortion, and socialist healthcare, Mitt Romney (over significantly more conservative Mike Huckabee, in 08’) is really tough to swallow. 3 endorsements of liberal pro-aborts is 3 too many in my book.

Whitman, the call claims, was “the abortion promoting governor of New Jersey.” Specter is labeled a “radical abortionist.” ”

“Santorum, an ardent opponent of abortion rights [ CCL: sic ], campaigned for both lawmakers during his time in the Senate. He has said publicly that he regrets backing then-Republican Specter, who switched to the Democratic Party last year.”

“The message urges voters to contact Santorum at the conservative [ CCL: sic ], Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, where he is a senior fellow, “and ask him to apologize for his longtime support of radical pro-abortion politicians.” “

ON ABORTION:

Glover: This issue has dogged you in the past. When you first started coming to Iowa commercials were run against you accusing you of being a pro-life fraud because you had supported Arlen Specter and Christie Todd Whitman. How do you defend that?

Santorum: Well, I supported Christie Todd Whitman over a guy by the name of Jim McGreevey who some now know who got thrown out of office, he actually became Governor of New Jersey later on…In the case of Arlen Specter, look, I made a prudential judgment. We were at a 51-49 majority in the United States Senate at the time that Specter was up for re-election, President Bush was up for re-election in 2004 and we knew that there would be two to three Supreme Court nominees that would be coming forward in the next four to six years, four years, under President Bush…

Rick Santorum is the GOP equivalent of the Commie-in-Chief. Rick Santorum’s was a champion of the pro-life community who elected him Senator. Once elected he proved to be a sell-out. He endorsed the radical Arlen Specter in the Republican Primary against Pat Toomey who is not only staunch social conservative [ CCL: ??? ] but a proven social conservative. Pat Toomey barely lost and could have won without the interference of Santorum. Additionally, he crossed over into NJ to endorse and campaign for Christie Todd Whitman in a Republican Primary against Murray Sabrin. Santorum chose the most radical Pro Abortion Governor in the history of the United States over a strong conservative Pro-life Candidate. The candidate he endorsed was infamous for a VETO of a bill that would ban Partial Birth Abortion. That is who he endorsed over a strong pro-life fiscal conservative.

“Rick Santorum was the poster child for or the National Right to Life organization that carried him to become their hero. … He is not as pro-life as he is perceived to be and might be considered to be a fraud, at least as I see it. … Pat Toomey sacrificed his Congressional seat to remedy damage Specter was doing to the GOP. He was actually closing in when who came to the rescue of Arlen Specter? That’s right – Rick Santorum, the poster child of the National Right to Life organization, campaigned to reelect Arlen Specter, the Pro-abortion Republican Senator over a true pro-life candidate. So much for character, Santorum is a proven fraud.”

“If that was the only regression it might be overlooked. But the most pro-abortion governor that has ever held that post is Christie Todd Whitman. She appointed the most radical judges to the New Jersey Supreme Court. New Jersey passed a Partial-birth abortion ban, and Christie Todd Whitman vetoed it. It was overridden by conscience (even the Democrats supported the ban), but Whitman’s extreme court ruled that banning partial-birth abortions was “unconstitutional.” That is definitely a Republican the party could do without, so in 1997 when Whitman was up for reelection she had a strong challenger. Murray Sabrin picked up the gauntlet, and challenged this extreme Pro-Abortion Governor for the Republican nomination, knowing it was tough to knock out an incumbent in a primary. Despite the difficult challenge, Sabrin was climbing in the polls and putting Whitman in jeopardy. So who comes to the rescue of this extremist Pro-Abortion Governor? That’s right – the poster child of the National Right to Life, Rick Santorum. He came to New Jersey to campaign and endorse Whitman who eventually got the nomination by a small margin in the primary, and Santorum made the difference. He is a fraud.”

Herman Cain’s 404 page pokes fun at the futility of Obama’s policies. However, Herman Cain’s major policy and mantra, his 9-9-9 tax plan, was almost as meaningless as Obama’s “Yes We Can.” Of course Herman Cain, who’s candidacy Rachel Maddow exposed as a joke, also played on Obama’s “Yes We Can” slogan with his own “Yes We Cain!” Many suspect that Herman Cain’s infamous 9-9-9 tax plan was taken from the computer game SimCity.

That Herman Cain did in fact take 9-9-9 from SimCity is not certain but is probable considering that at the FOX GOP presidential debate in August he quoted a line from the Pokemon movie with the vague attribution of “a poet once said.” When Cain suspended his campaign he quoted the same line, this time with direct attribution to the Pokemon movie. His whole campaign seems to be a series of sick jokes on the GOP electorate who is crying out for a political savior. Consider for example his flavor of the month joke about Black Walnut ice cream which was and is no longer being sold. The Black Walnut ice cream flavor made by Haagen Dazs was only a limited edition flavor.

In October, the Cain campaign released a strange fund raising appeal ad featuring Cain’s chief of staff Mark Block. The ad instantly went viral and turned Mark Block into an internet sensation inspiring many parodies, especially of his strange long drag on a cigarette to end the ad. The ad featured overly trite lines from Block such as:

Herman Cain will put united back in the United States of America.

We’ve run a campaign like nobody’s ever seen, but then, America’s never seen a candidate like Herman Cain.

Also unusual was the background music chosen for the ad which featured the song “I Am America” by American Idol contestant Krista Branch. After the ad went viral comedian Stephen Colbert quickly noted that he was the first to widely use the phrase “I Am America” in his book, “I Am America (And So Can You!)“.

During the height of campaign season this fall when most candidates usually spend the majority of their time in the early voting states Herman Cain embarked on a nationwide book tour to sell his book “This is Herman Cain.” Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough even called Cain’s candidacy a “glorified book tour” and accused him of “making this up as he goes along.”

Cain did seem to be making his whole campaign up as he went along as evidenced by his emphatically ignorant answer on the president of Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan and his clueless answer on Libya during which he confusedly stated:

I do not agree with the way he handled it for the following reason. No, that’s a different one.
I gotta go back.
I got all this stuff twirling around in my head.

Herman Cain also seems to have no problem reversing his positions and lying about it in the process. Cain, who was the Chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank, reversed his position on the Federal Reserve and then lied about doing so in two different GOP debates.

Ladd Ehlinger, famous for his sensational political ads, also accused the Cain campaign of lying to him by corresponding with him for 5 months and leading him on about making a political ad until he finally found out the campaign already had an exclusive contract to have their videos made by someone else.

Ehlinger also asserts about Cain:

And drinking parties. Yes – you drink like a fish, you flirt all over the place, and everyone who’s attended CPAC knows it.

The issue of Herman Cain’s sexual scandals involving multiple cases of sexual harassment as well as a 13 year long extramarital affair would not seem out of character with his conduct as asserted by Ehlinger and probably others. Neoconservative author Ann Coulter did her best in one of her articles to defend Cain from his accusers and try to expose the attacks on him as liberal media bias. Most of the argument that Cain was not guilty rested on an ad hominem attack against his accusers. What never seemed to be widely pointed out is that the bad character of the women would make them more likely to be involved in adultery with Cain rather than less likely. Whether or not Cain was guilty is not necessarily the most important point though. What is important is the exorbitant amount of media time spent discussing the scandals instead of policy issues. By dominating the coverage other more worthwhile candidates such as Ron Paul were denied coverage.

Although Herman Cain appears to be a unique figure, in some ways he was just one more empty suit. His quick rise out of nowhere to Republican Presidential frontrunner status was only one in a series of many. The media trotted out a series of candidates such as Donald Trump, Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, Chris Christie, Mitch Daniels, Tim Pawlenty, Michelle Bachmann, Rick Perry, and finally Herman Cain. Cain just happened to be the most dynamic and appeared to be the last before the GOP electorate decided on Newt Gingrich. The media used Cain as they did each of the other candidates to continue the charade of the presidential nominating process. The GOP nominee having been already chosen—likely Newt Gingrich—each candidate is paraded in the spotlight to give the process credibility. What the electorate is ignorant of is that their perception of and attraction to the candidates is entirely shaped by the media.

Now that Cain has suspended his presidential campaign, many are now admitting what was obvious for a while—that he was running to be the next Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin. Cain now has a base which he can sell books to and raise money from. He will probably be seen going around endorsing charlatan Tea Party candidates as Palin and Huckabee have both done.

Was Herman Cain’s candidacy all a sick joke on the unsuspecting and gullible GOP electorate? Did he take his 9-9-9 tax plan from SimCity? Why did he quote the Pokemon movie? Was “I Am America” used as a back-handed reference to Stephen Colbert’s book? Was the flavor of the week, Black Walnut, a metaphor for his short lived campaign? One thing is certain. Cain provided some great lines for late night tv.

Christmas was the Winter Solstice

Thursday was Thor’s Day

Friday was Freya’s Day

Saturday was Saturn’s Day

Sunday was the sun’s day

7th day sabbatarian’s that argue against Sunday based on Sunday being for sun worship have no basis since Saturday is for the worship of Saturn. It would be more appropriate to instead refer to the days of the week as the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. days of the week. Whether or not one’s weekly day of rest should be on the day we refer to as Sunday or Saturday should not be based on the pagan names of the day of the week since they are all pagan.

While recognizing the pagan influences on culture the Christian should also keep in mind his liberty in Christ and that an “idol is nothing” as Paul wrote in his letter to the Corinthians.

As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. — 1 Corinthians 8:4

What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? — 1 Corinthians 10:19

Christians should also remember the numerous commands to learn not the way of the heathen.

Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. — Jeremiah 10:2

An excellent resource regarding paganism’s encroachment into Christianity is The Two Babylon’s by Alexander Hislop.

At the September 12, 2012 CNN/Tea Party debate in Florida, Herman Cain was asked if the Federal Reserve should be audited. The answer he gave was contradictory to his previous statements that the Federal Reserve does not need to be audited.

When Herman Cain hosted the Neil Boortz show on December 29, 2010 he stated about the need to audit the Federal Reserve:

We don’t need to waste money with another comission or an audit that’s not necessary.

Contrast that with his answer in the Republican debate:

Wolf Blitzer: You were once with the Kansas City Federal Reserve, should it be audited?

Herman Cain: Yes, it should be audited, and secondly I believe that its focus should be narrowed. I don’t believe in ending the fed, I believe in fixing the fed. For many many decades the fed did its job when it was singularly focused on sound money. When we wake up in the morning we expect 60 minutes to be in an hour. Now, when we wake up because of some of the actions of the current fed, we don’t know what the value of the dollar’s gonna be. In 1988 it took 1.2 dollars in order to be able to convert from Canadian to US. It is now totally reversed because of the current policies of the fed.

The Federa Reserve was never focused on sound money. From the beginning, by taking the dollar off of the gold standard the Fed was inevitably focused on destroying the value of the dollar which they have successfully done. It is not the Federal Reserve that has changed, it is Herman Cain that has “totally reversed” his position on the Federal Reserve since now it is popular to be in favor of auditing the Fed thanks to Ron Paul.

When using certain blog publishing methods such as posting from Microsoft Office, one may have an empty blank line between paragraphs which is interpreted by WordPress’s automatic formatting as an empty paragraph. This results in an extra empty paragraph between each paragraph of text.

To remove these empty paragraphs of whitespace automatically when publishing or updating a post, edit formatting.php in the wp-includes folder of your wordpress installation. Search for “function wpautop”. Right before the line that says “return $pee;”, insert this code:

// Remove empty paragraphs.
$pee = preg_replace("|\s*( )*\s*|", '', $pee);

Obviously a plugin would be a more permanent solution since this change will be lost upon upgrading WordPress.

Marking spam emails in a Yahoo Mail account using the spam button appears to be ineffective. One will continue to receive similar and even identical email spam. Although the Yahoo spam filter is effective for the majority of spam, apparently the spam button contributes to a general spam filter algorithm and not to a user specific spam filter as is the case with gmail.

One way to help filter out the spam on a Yahoo Mail account is to filter all messages not containing your email address in the recipient field.
